Chuck Wical has a diverse range of experience in software engineering and development. Chuck started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1987, where they worked as a Software Solutions Engineer, performing usability and functional testing on troubleshooting software products. Chuck also completed user documentation and training materials. Chuck then transitioned to Product Development and Support Engineering, where they performed serviceability analyses and identified repair modifications for a Color LaserJet printer, resulting in significant cost reductions.

In 2006, Chuck joined Engage Technologies Inc as an Embedded Software Engineer, working on an industrial inkjet printer running on an embedded Linux OS. Chuck optimized device drivers, added new functionality, and reconfigured and compiled a custom Linux kernel to handle hardware modifications.

Chuck's next role was at Calabrio, Inc in 2008, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Chuck provided software support engineering for a voice and screen recording software product on a VoIP phone system. Chuck developed software patches and service releases and provided release note information to support and documentation teams.

Most recently, Chuck worked at Amano McGann, Inc as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Here, they developed firmware for parking and access equipment, handling data from various readers. Chuck also developed C code for different processors and created software tools in Visual Basic.

Chuck Wical has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from Boise State University. Chuck attended the university from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technologies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 1983 to 1986.
