Liam O'Brien has over 20 years of experience in global supply chain and external manufacturing. Liam started their career in 2002 at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles in manufacturing and quality. Liam later joined Novartis in 2012, serving as a Senior Brand Lifecycle Manager and Global Brand Lead in the oncology division. In 2017, they became the Head of External Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Noden Pharma. Liam then moved to Nabriva Therapeutics plc in 2019, where they held the position of Head of Supply Chain. Currently, they are employed as the Head of Global Supply Chain & External Manufacturing at Amarin Corporation, and they previously held the role of Head of Supply Chain, Europe at the same company.
Liam O'Brien began their education in 1998 at University College Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Science. Liam later pursued a Certificate in Marketing at Technological University Dublin from 2001 to 2002. Liam furthered their education at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors from 2008 to 2010.
