Georges Lequime

Georges Lequime is an experienced portfolio manager currently with Amati Global Investors since March 2021, focusing on the Amati Strategic Metals Fund. Georges has held significant roles in the investment sector, serving as Strategic Metals Fund Manager at Earth Resource Investment Group since 2008, and previously as Senior Investment Advisor for various funds. At Harmony Gold, Georges worked as Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, also taking on leadership within Harmony Capital. Prior experience includes managing director at RBC Capital Markets, senior vice president at HSBC leading global mining research, and fund manager for the Old Mutual Gold Fund. Georges began a career as a graduate mining engineer at Anglo American after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
