Rene Meyer is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in memory technology and device research. Currently serving as VP of Technology at AMAX Information Technologies since July 2015, Rene previously held roles including Chief Technologist at an early-stage memory startup and Senior Manager of Device Technology at Rambus. At Rambus, responsibilities included leading model development for filamentary RRAM and contributing to intellectual property initiatives. Rene also served as Director of Device Technology at Unity Semiconductor, focusing on non-filamentary memory technology, and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Stanford University, conducting fundamental research on ultrathin ferroelectric films. Additionally, Rene has a background as a Senior Scientist at Research Center Juelich, specializing in ionic varistor devices. Rene obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science from RWTH Aachen University.
