William Blanco-Bose has over 20 years of experience in the food, petfood, cosmetic, and biotechnology industries. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at EPFL, where they developed cell encapsulation technology and a lentiviral-based RNA-interference system. In 2009, they co-founded Cofundit. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Innovation Development at Amazentis. William then moved to Amazentis SA, where they served as the Director of Functional Ingredient Development and Regulatory Affairs from 2015 to present. In this role, they are responsible for defining and implementing regulatory strategies from product inception to product launch to obtain commercial approval for functional food, petfood, and cosmetic products in the US, EU, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Canada. William is also in charge of the preparation of regulatory filings for Amazentis lead food ingredient, pet food and cosmetics in various global juristictions and ensures comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for functional ingredients, dietary supplements, medical foods, foods for special medical purposes, petfoods and cosmetics in various global jurisdictions.
William Blanco-Bose obtained their BS in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, followed by an Executive MBA from IMD in 2009. William then earned their PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from Stanford University School of Medicine.
