Behzad Shahrasbi

Behzad Shahrasbi is an applied science manager at Amazon since October 2022, previously serving as a senior manager and staff data scientist at Walmart Global Tech from October 2018 to October 2022, as well as a staff and senior data scientist at SmartDrive Systems from June 2017 to October 2018. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Nokia and Gainspeed, where Behzad developed APIs and diagnostic tools, and a graduate research assistantship at the University of Central Florida focused on signal processing and machine learning. Behzad holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida, a MSc from Oklahoma State University, and a BSc from Amirkabir University of Technology.
