George Dikos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain and risk management, currently serving as Vice President of Supply Chain at Amazon since September 2012. Dikos has held several key positions at Amazon, including Vice President of EU Supply Chain & Compliance and Director roles focusing on EU supply chain optimization, logistics network design, and data science applications to enhance customer experience. Prior experience includes managerial and engineering roles at Lafarge Cement, where Dikos oversaw logistics and performance improvement initiatives, and a visiting professorship in Maritime Management at Frederick University Cyprus. Dikos holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master's in Shipping Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, and a BA/MA in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
