Gopalakrishna Rao

Gopalakrishna Rao has extensive experience in finance leadership, currently serving as Finance Director at Amazon since October 2017, after holding the position of Senior Finance Manager. Previously, Gopalakrishna spent over a decade at Unilever, where roles included CFO of Lakme Lever, focusing on finance, IT, and supply chain, as well as Category Finance Manager for Ice Creams, overseeing performance management and profitability. Additional roles at Unilever included Commercial Manager and Manager of Finance & Capabilities for the Asia AMET region, where Gopalakrishna developed financial processes and IT tools for procurement. Gopalakrishna began a career in finance with CA Articleship at Guru & Jana and holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mysore.
