Miikka Rokkanen

Miikka Rokkanen serves as a Principal Economist in Customer Behavior Analytics at Amazon since July 2017, with prior roles including Senior Economist and Economist II within the same department. Currently, Miikka holds a position as a Senior Fellow at the Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative. Previous academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Columbia University and various research roles at institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Government Institute for Economic Research VATT. Miikka holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä.
