Shiyan Pan

Shiyan Pan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Shiyan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LSI Logic Corporation from June 2001 to July 2004. From July 2004 to July 2012, Shiyan served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Real Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Realtek Semiconductor Corporation. During their time at Real Communications Inc., they were responsible for video firmware architecture and infrastructure, specifically working on MPEG-2, H.264/AVC/MVC, H.265/HEVC, and VP8 decoders. In 2012, Shiyan transitioned to Zenverge, where they worked as a Sr. Staff Engineer from July 2012 to October 2012. Later in 2012, Shiyan joined Ambarella as a Principal Architecture Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Shiyan Pan received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Tsinghua University in 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Tsinghua University from 1996 to 1999. Finally, they obtained another MSEE from Vanderbilt University from 1999 to 2001.
