Des Duggan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career at British Gas in 2000, where they held various roles such as Business Change and Readiness Manager, Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for Smart Metering, Contract Manager, Project Manager, and Business Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for managing tactical change, overseeing the supply chain, delivering business improvement initiatives, and establishing and managing strategic partnerships. They also worked closely with internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Des joined Meter Provida in 2017 as a Project Manager, where they managed end-to-end projects and implemented a bespoke system. They later worked at Smart DCC as an IT Project Manager, responsible for remote management of a development team and ensuring successful completion of business readiness activities.

Des then transitioned to amber energy as an Interim Project Manager before joining Frontline Consultancy & Business Services as a Managed Services Project Manager.

Currently, Des is serving as the Lead Project Manager at Amber, where they oversee project management activities.

Throughout their career, Des has demonstrated strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes.
