Marc Kelly

Marc Kelly has extensive experience in financial consulting, investment advising, and providing Boards and Executive teams with competent, candid and forward-looking advice. Marc began their career in 1987 as a Co-Founder and Director of Spectrum Asset Management, one of the oldest and most established independent investment advisors in Orange County, California. In 2000, they became the Managing Director of INNOVATIVE FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS, providing client counsel and professional services to clients ranging from start-ups to mid-market companies to family offices.

In 2014, they became an Advisor for OpticalLock, a cloud based platform using advanced fiber optics, global wireless technologies and highly secure management software to track and protect high value goods. In 2016, they became an Advisor for Velox Biosystems, a rapid, ultra-sensitive, single-cell detection platform technology to address critical unmet needs in clinical diagnostics. In 2017, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Amberstone Biosciences, a biotech company spun out of UC Irvine that has developed a patented Platform-as-a-Service. In 2018, they became an Advisor for Cerenetex, Inc., a screening tool to identify, measure and classify stroke, migraine and other neurological conditions. In 2019, they became the Interim Chief Financial Officer for Cooler Heads Care, a company that has reinvented cold cap therapy for cancer patients. In 2020, they became the Chief Financial Officer for Retriever Medical Inc., a company that has developed a novel device to remove blood clots. In 2021, they became the Chief Financial Officer for Precision Digital Health, an artificial intelligence Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform company.

Marc Kelly attended La Serna High School from 1970 to 1974, followed by the University of Southern California from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a BA in Communications & Finance. Marc then attended Harvard Business School from 1980 to 1982, where they earned an MBA in Finance.
