Denis Bittencourt

Denis Bittencourt is an experienced data professional with a strong background in data engineering and management. Currently serving as Data Manager and Data Tech Lead at Ambev since February 2020, Denis focuses on pricing strategies, discount allocation, and sales data projects while utilizing tools like Data Factory and Data Bricks (PySpark) to build ingestion pipelines and algorithms. Previously, Denis worked at IBM as a Data Engineer for the Vale AI Center, addressing data demands for various international sites and conducting analyses related to truck engine performance and transport anomalies. Earlier experience includes a role as a Data Engineer at (QI)³ - Inteligência de Negócios, where Denis developed ETL processes for clients in the education and retail sectors, alongside an internship as a Data Engineer. Denis holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems with a specialization in Operations Research from Ufes - Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo.
