Vishal Satish has a wealth of experience in the field of AI/Machine Learning. In 2019, they began working at Ambidextrous as an AI/Machine Learning Engineer, where they are responsible for building and training deep neural networks, researching new algorithms, and building the technical infrastructure to support working with huge datasets. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research, where they worked on the SOTA Dexterity Network (Dex-Net) project for robust robot grasping. In 2018, they also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Berkeley RISE Lab, where they worked on distributed reinforcement learning algorithms and model parallelism in TensorFlow 2.0 using the Ray. Additionally, they were VP of Projects and Project Lead at Machine Learning at Berkeley in 2018.
Vishal Satish attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Vishal then continued their studies at the same university, graduating in 2021 with a Master's degree in EECS.
