Bill Wu has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Bill started their career as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Huawei Technologies in 2007 and worked there until 2012. During this time, they gained expertise in various software development areas.
In 2012, Bill joined Tymphany as a Senior Software Development Engineer. Bill played a crucial role in designing and implementing Bluetooth speaker platforms. Bill also developed the CSR8670 Bluetooth and NFC P2P protocol stack and worked on Android mobile application development.
From 2016 to 2017, Bill worked at Kuaiwear as a Software Lead. Bill'sresponsibilities included leading software development projects.
In 2017, Bill returned to Tymphany as a Software Engineering Manager. In this role, they managed a team of 12 engineers and was responsible for project planning, task breakdown, and schedule estimation. Bill also had the opportunity to work with European and American customers and handle technical discussions and delivery schedules. Bill played a significant role in the development of the Qualcomm QCS40X Snapdragon platform speaker with various features, such as Alexa, Airplay2, Spotify, QPlay, and Deep Sleep. Additionally, they built the first Linux in-house development team, expanding it from 1 to 8 members within two years.
Most recently, Bill Wu joined Ambiq in 2021 as a Software Engineering Manager.
Bill Wu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Sun Yat-sen University from 2005 to 2007.
