Keith Hamberg has over 25 years of work experience in software and firmware engineering, with expertise in medical device development, system architecture, and embedded firmware design. Keith is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Ambiq since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Spartronics Medical Group as a Principal Firmware Engineer, where they played a key role in designing and producing advanced medical devices for third-party companies. Before their time at Spartronics, Keith owned and operated Microweb Engineering, Inc, providing consulting services and developing custom hardware, firmware, and software solutions for clients. Keith also has experience working at Honeywell as a Sr. Principal Engineer, where they led integration and testing of embedded firmware for flight software. Additionally, Keith has worked as a Principal Engineer at ADC and as a Contract Engineer at both Honeywell and Goodrich.
Keith Hamberg obtained an M.S in Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanics with a focus on Math, Rigid Body Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science, and Nonlinear Systems from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, they earned a B.S in Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanics from the same university, specializing in Math, Fluid Mechanics, Advanced Rigid Body Dynamics, and Computer Science.
