Mark Chen has over 19 years of experience in HR and business development roles. Mark most recently worked as the HR Director APAC at Ambiq since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior HR Manager at Pepperl+Fuchs Group from June 2019 to April 2022. Mark also served as the Head of HR at ARLANXEO from November 2017 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Mark worked as an HR Manager at Merit Medical Systems, Inc. from August 2013 to October 2017. Mark also worked as an HR Business Partner at Michelman in 2013. Additionally, Mark gained experience as an HRIS Manager and Recruitment Manager at Bekaert from 2011 to 2012 and from 2008 to 2010, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Hudson from October 2007 to December 2008. Mark's early career includes roles as a Sales Engineer at GEA Process Engineering, a Patent Engineer at Ella Cheong Spruson & Ferguson, and a Sales Engineer at Seko Dosing Systems Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
Mark Chen attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering and Industrial Management. Mark then pursued further education at the National University of Singapore from 1999 to 2001, earning a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2016 and 2017, they attended both the ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School, obtaining an EMBA degree in Business Administration and Management from both institutions.
