Michael Platt

Michael Platt is an experienced Maritime Security professional, currently serving as Maritime Security Team Leader at Ambrey Risk since October 2013. Platt holds a City and Guilds Level 3 Qualification and possesses extensive knowledge from numerous transits in the Gulf of Aden and surrounding areas. Previously, Platt held roles as Maritime Security Team Leader and Operator at AMSS, and as Maritime Security Operator at Asset Maritime Security Services, where responsibilities included providing security consultancy, armed response, and conducting dynamic risk assessments. Platt's expertise is backed by commendations from various Masters of shipping companies, reflecting a strong professional reputation. Education was completed at Sandbach Grammar School between 1985 and 1988.
