Piet Huizinga

Piet Huizinga is an experienced executive in the field of ambulance care, currently serving as Directeur at Ambulance IJsselland since December 1998 and Directeur bestuurder at Ambulance Oost since March 2010. In addition to these roles, Piet holds multiple positions within Ambulancezorg Nederland, including Vicevoorzitter and Voorzitter van de Bestuurscommissie Kwaliteit, contributing to the organization's representation of 25 Regional Ambulance Services. Furthermore, Piet is actively involved as Voorzitter of Axira UA, promoting collaborative efforts among regional ambulance organizations, and as Voorzitter of Stichting Axudo, overseeing the development of software for medical reporting. Additional engagements include roles in Stichting SOS Toegang, Meldkamer Oost Nederland, Stichting Meldkamer Twente, HartslagNu, and Stichting Acute Zorg Mobiel Twente.
