Jeanette Thng

Jeanette Thng is a Business Development Executive at AME International. Jeanette previously worked as an R&D and Commercialisation Intern at 3M from July 2017 to December 2017, where they were responsible for analytical testing using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, ion chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, and contact angle. Jeanette also collaborated with superiors and colleagues to create web and media content for commercialization. In addition, they were selected to be the sole representative to speak at NTU MSE Industrial Awareness Day 2018 about their Professional Internship experience with the company.

Prior to their work at 3M, Jeanette Thng was a Relief Allied Educator (READ) at Jurongville Secondary School from February 2015 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring that the class did their work and submit on time and also taught the class. During exam time, their responsibilities included invigilating the class to ensure that the students upheld the school rules and integrity.

Jeanette Thng has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Jeanette has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor's degree exchange program in Material Science from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Jeanette has certification from EF Education First in EFSET 67 Advanced (CEFR C1).
