Edward S. Godfrey

Edward S. Godfrey is an accomplished business development and engineering executive with extensive experience in the defense sector. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Amentum since February 2021, Edward leads pursuit efforts and develops business cases for complex management decisions within the Sustainment, Engineering and Acquisition Business Unit. Previously, as Vice President at Life Cycle Engineering from December 2013 to February 2021, Edward focused on enhancing customer relationships and providing engineering and logistical support solutions to the Department of Defense and private industry. Edward's career at NAVSEA spanned from 1976 to 2013, where roles included Director of the Ship Integrity and Performance Engineering Group and Director of the Corporate Operations Directorate, managing large, diverse teams and substantial budgets. Edward holds a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with additional education from various prestigious institutions.
