Brandon Ribic

Brandon Ribic currently serves as the Technology Director at America Makes since October 2019, following a tenure at Rolls-Royce from October 2012 to September 2019 as a Joining Processes and Additive Manufacturing Materials Specialist. In this role, Brandon Ribic led efforts in developing advanced manufacturing capabilities, particularly for titanium and nickel alloy components, and received the 2016 Rolls-Royce Defense President's Award for pioneering directed energy deposition repair techniques. Brandon Ribic has also held positions at Trinity Industries, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Penn State University, gaining extensive experience in metallurgy, quality management, and education in materials science. Academic credentials include a PhD and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University. Brandon Ribic actively contributes to professional organizations, holding leadership roles in various committees associated with the American Welding Society.
