Sj Sam Sawyer

Sam Sawyer, SJ has worked for America Media since 2015. Sam started as the Executive Editor & Director of Digital Strategy and currently holds the role of Editor in Chief. Prior to that, they worked as a Visiting Instructor at Loyola University Maryland from 2009 to 2011.

Sam Sawyer, SJ's education history begins in 1996 when they attended Boston College and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago, which they completed between 2006 and 2009. In 2011, they returned to Boston College to pursue a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, which they completed in 2014.
