Teresa Alvarez is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary teaching. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Science Teacher and previously as a Third Grade Teacher at American Academy Casablanca since August 2019, Teresa has also taught at the Diocese of San Jose from 2014 to 2019, where roles included Third Grade Teacher and Fourth Grade Teacher at St. Leo the Great Catholic School. Earlier experience includes serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at Salesian Elementary and Jr. High School and as a 2nd Grade Substitute Teacher at St. Jerome's Catholic Church. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University, Chico, earned in 2012.
