Rohit Gaurav

Rohit Gaurav is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical research, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research since January 2023 and as an Academic Editor for Public Library of Science since March 2022. With extensive experience, Rohit has held various key roles, including Fellow at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, participating in multiple committees focused on allergic inflammation and asthma. Previous positions include Instructor and Research Associate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where research involved lung damage mechanisms and respiratory diseases, and Postdoctoral Research Associate at National Jewish Health, focusing on pulmonary fibrosis. Rohit has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Creighton University and has recently pursued a certificate in Applied Data Science and AI from MIT Professional Education.
