Afifa Adiba M.D.

Afifa Adiba, MD is currently serving as Service Chief and Attending Physician at Sheppard Pratt, specializing in the Inpatient Adolescent Unit. Afifa holds various roles at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), including AACAP Assembly ECP Representative and TAY/CSMH Committee Liaison. Adiba is also an Editorial Board Member at the Journal of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a Legislative Council Member at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. With a background in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Yale School of Medicine and experience as a Fellow at Yale Child Study Center, Adiba is actively involved in shaping the field through their multiple leadership roles.
