Josephine Lampton has a diverse range of work experience. Josephine began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Laidlaw Transit Services in 2004 and later became a Proposal Administrator for the same company. In 2007, they joined the Kansas City Regional Arts Council as an Administrative Assistant. The following year, they worked as an Executive/Personal Assistant to the Artistic Director at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. Lampton then transitioned to Truman Medical Centers in 2009, where they served as a Sr. Administrative Assistant until 2016. Since 2016, they have been employed at the American Academy of Family Physicians, first as an Administrative Coordinator and currently as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Continuing Professional Development.
Josephine Lampton attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City and obtained a Bachelor of Music Education degree, specializing in Music. Josephine also pursued a degree in Music Teacher Education (BME) from the same university. Additionally, Josephine holds a Missouri Lifetime Teaching Certificate, which was issued by the State of Missouri- Office of Administration.
