Dawn Mueller-Burke

AACN Essentials Curricular Workgroup Co-lead at American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)

Dawn Mueller-Burke is currently a Co-Lead for the AACN Essentials Curricular Workgroup at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. Dawn has been working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing since 2004, specializing in neonatal, pediatric, and DNP faculty. Dawn has also been involved in various roles such as Program Planning Committee and Faculty at the Neonatal Advanced Practice Nursing Forum, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and IRB member at Chesapeake IRB (now Advarra). Dawn's extensive educational background includes a PhD in Developmental Neurophysiology/Nursing, a Post Masters Certificate in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and other related degrees from reputable institutions.
