Gerta Skenderi Av. LL.M is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, banking law, and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as a Corporate Governance Officer and Counsel/Executive Assistant to the CEO at American Bank of Investments since September 2023, Gerta previously held the position of Senior Lawyer at the United Bank of Albania from September 2021 to August 2023. Gerta also led the Legal Department at Agrokredit Sh.a from August 2019 to August 2021 and provided freelance legal services from January 2006 to July 2021. Further legal experience includes roles as Of Counsel at ShukeLaw, Associate at Wolf Theiss, and Associate at Allen & Overy from 1999 to 2005, where Gerta was associated with the Italian law firm Brosio, Casati e associati. Gerta holds a Diploma in Law from the University of Tirana and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Administrative Law from the European University of Tirana.
