Jody Horowitz Slate

Jody Horowitz Slate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and fundraising within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Sponsorship and Fundraising Manager for the American Bar Association since July 2019, Jody oversees law firm and corporate sponsor relationships to enhance litigation conferences and programming. Previous roles include Director of Israel Experience at the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, where responsibilities encompassed scholarship processes and program promotion, as well as Associate Director of Alumni Relations & Development at the University of Chicago, focusing on alumni engagement and donor cultivation. Additional experience includes positions at the Alzheimer's Association, Temple Sholom of Chicago, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and the Brain Research Foundation. Jody holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a certificate in Grant Writing from Spertus College.
