Joshua Poje's work experience begins in 2005 when they served as a Research Attorney for the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL), also known as the Uniform Law Commission. Joshua conducted research, prepared comparisons against proposed legislation, and drafted legislative language. Following their role at NCCUSL, Poje joined the American Bar Association (ABA) in 2007 as the Director of the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center. In this role, they provided guidance to ABA members on the ethical and effective use of technology in modern law practice. Joshua also served as the editor of the annual ABA Legal Technology Survey Report. Poje later became the Director of the ABA Law Practice Division, overseeing the division's publications and events. Joshua then took on the role of Managing Director, Content & Strategy, and most recently, the Chief Product Officer at the American Bar Association.

Joshua Poje completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History at Augustana College from 1999 to 2003. Joshua then went on to pursue a Juris Doctorate degree in Law at DePaul University College of Law from 2003 to 2006.
