Barbara Stewart

BA and MBA from Northwestern University. Trustee and Co-Founder of the Bowe Stewart Foundation. From 2018 to 2021, Barbara served as the Presidentially-appointed, Senate confirmed CEO of AmeriCorps, the federal agency for service and volunteerism. Prior to AmeriCorps, Barbara was an SVP at JPMorgan Chase and earlier in her career worked in Illinois state government. She has chaired multiple civic and non-profit organizations in both Chicago and Baltimore, and helped found a charter school in Chicago.
