Marisol Hernandez currently serves as the Deputy Director of National Policy at CHIRLA since November 2023. Prior to this role, Marisol worked as a Policy Associate at Masa Group LLC from June to November 2023 and as a Graduate Research Intern at The Wilson Center from August 2022 to May 2023. Marisol has experience as a Research Consultant at Mercy Corps, focusing on the economic integration of Venezuelan migrants in Colombia. Additionally, Marisol held an internship at the Bipartisan Policy Center, where qualitative and quantitative immigration research was conducted, and materials for public discourse were prepared. Earlier in their career, Marisol was a Senior Program Associate and Program Associate at Internews and a Litigation Paralegal at Maggio Kattar Nahajzer + Alexander PC. Marisol holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Spanish from Bates College.
