Brian Best currently serves as Facilities Manager at American Behavioral Health Systems since June 2023. Prior to this role, Brian held positions at Gonzaga University from May 2014 to May 2023, including Bozarth Property Manager and Crime Prevention and Education Officer within Campus Security and Public Safety. Brian's background in education includes teaching summer school sections of the Criminal Justice Program at the Spokane Skills Center while working as a School Resource Officer and Teacher at Spokane Public Schools from August 1999 to April 2014. Earlier in Brian's career, experience as a Reserve Officer with the Spokane Police Department from September 1994 to November 1999 was gained. Brian holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Community Colleges of Spokane, completed between 1994 and 1996.
