Charles Sanky M.D., Mph

Charles Sanky, MD, MPH, is currently an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where extensive experience encompasses clinical emergency medicine in various hospital settings. Sanky has also held roles such as Emergency Medicine Project Manager & Strategy Lead, focusing on Health Services and Healthcare Readiness research, and served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Research Committee at the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA). Additional contributions include founding Resilient Monkey, an organization supporting healthcare professionals in engaging creatively with their identities, and serving as Principal Investigator at HealthiER Lab, researching population health and medical education. Education includes a B.A. in Psychology and Business Management from Columbia University and an MD with distinctions from Icahn School of Medicine, complemented by a Master of Public Health degree and NIH T32 Research Fellowship.
