Richard Palmer

Richard Palmer has extensive experience in editing and education, currently serving as a Freelance Editor at Gill Ashton Publishing LLC and as an Editing Manager at the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. since 2014. In these roles, Richard assists in maintaining examination item banks, edits and proofs materials for clarity and accuracy, and tracks editorial processes. Previous positions include Senior Editor and other editorial roles at Advanstar Communications, where Richard managed editorial teams and produced various articles for print and web. Additional experience includes teaching and counseling roles in educational settings, such as a Substitute Teacher and Outdoor Survivor Camp Counselor. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University.
