Matt Nelson

Matt Nelson is an experienced professional in the fields of avionics and oil field operations, currently serving as a Field Operator 5 at American Cementing, LLC since March 2022, where responsibilities include pump operation and maintenance as well as E-tech duties. Prior to this role, Matt held positions such as Field Service Engineer at Leidos, Avionics Lead at Skysource International, and Avionics Mod Team Lead at L2 Consulting Services, demonstrating expertise in avionics troubleshooting and modifications across various aircraft types. Matt’s background includes significant roles as a Senior Avionics Technician at Eagle Aviation Services, working on new aircraft installations at Leonardo, and serving as a mechanic and electronics technician in the oil field industry with positions at BJ Services and Tyonek Native Corp. An alumnus of the U.S. Navy aviation electrical and electronics A School, Matt also holds a Class A CDL and a high school diploma from W. S. Neal.
