Shannon Capellupo

Shannon Capellupo is an experienced event management professional with a strong track record in strategic planning and fundraising. Currently serving as Regional Event Support Director at American City Business Journals since February 2022, Shannon collaborates with local market event teams to enhance personal development and business success. Previously, as Event Director for Pittsburgh Business Times from October 2015 to February 2022, Shannon was instrumental in creating cohesive event programs. Notable achievements include receiving the 2015 Gala Award for Best Fundraising Event for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the 2011 Franny Cohen Award for exemplary performance while working there as Director of Events. Additionally, Shannon developed effective fundraising strategies as Manager of Individual Support at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and managed affinity clubs while serving as Membership Coordinator at WQED Multimedia. Shannon completed a degree at Mercyhurst University from 2000 to 2004.
