Mary Cadden

Mary Cadden is an experienced editor and writer currently serving as Associate Editor for CoatingsTech at the American Coatings Association since September 2023. In this role, Mary collaborates with the Editor-in-Chief and Graphic Designer/Production Manager on a peer-reviewed journal for the painting and coatings industry. Prior to this, Mary spent over two decades at USA TODAY, where responsibilities included redesigning and publishing the USA TODAY Best-Selling Books List and reporting on breaking news and feature stories. Early career positions included work as a researcher for the American Enterprise Institute and USA TODAY. Mary holds a Professional Editing Certificate from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Tech.
