Zach Cherian

Young Scholars Research Cohort Intern at American College of Cardiology

Zach Cherian currently serves as a Clinical Intern at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, gaining hands-on experience in various medical departments, including Radiology, GI, and Cardiology. Additionally, Zach is involved as a Cohort Researcher with the International Neuroscience Research Journal Club, focusing on neuroscience research and peer-review processes. As a Young Scholars Research Cohort Intern with the American College of Cardiology, Zach participates in guided research projects and mentorship in cardiovascular disease. Zach's leadership skills are demonstrated through roles as an Academic Representative in the DePaul University Honors Program and as a Pathways Mentor, assisting freshman in their transition to university life. With experience as a Resident Advisor at DePaul and as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Zach has built a strong foundation in both academic and community service. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from DePaul University, complemented by minors in Bioethics and Society, Applied Psychology, and Biology.
