Allison Wynes

Allison Wynes is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at the University of Iowa Health Care since July 2006, specializing in the Organ Transplant Center. Additionally, Allison holds the positions of Co Director for the UIHC Critical Care APP Fellowship Program and Coordinator for the Medical Intensive Care Advanced Practice Provider Team. Previous roles include Lead Advanced Practice Provider in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and various nursing positions, such as Charge Nurse and Staff Nurse. Since July 2020, Allison has served as Co Chair for the Critical Skills for Critical Care Domain Task Force with the American College of Chest Physicians.
