Jose Antonio Carbonell

Jose Antonio Carbonell, MD PhD FESC, currently serves as a Second Lieutenant in the Spanish Ministry of Defense, specifically in the NATO unit with BRILAT. Carbonell has extensive experience in cardiology, holding fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. As a Consultant Cardiologist, Carbonell works with the Generalitat Valenciana and multiple hospitals, specializing in cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Additional roles include International Medical Advisor for various pharmaceutical companies and a Medical Manager at Synexus Clinical Research. Carbonell's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona and a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central de Venezuela, complemented by training in health management and transplant coordination.
