Anita Halvorsen, FACHE, has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Anita has held various leadership roles in multiple organizations.

From 2016 to present, they have been serving as the Senior Vice President for Executive Engagement at the American College of Healthcare Executives. In this role, they are responsible for membership growth, credentialing, customer service, and establishing collaborative partnerships with other professional organizations.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, Anita served as the Vice President for the Professional Development Division at the American College of Healthcare Executives. Their responsibilities included developing and delivering educational programs for members and overseeing career development services.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Ithaca College from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Rush University from 1991 to 1993. In 1993, Anita also obtained the Speech Language Pathologist [Inactive] certification from IDFPR.

Recognizing the importance of furthering their education in healthcare administration, Anita returned to school and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare Administration at Saint Xavier University from 1998 to 2000.
