Dr. Ruth Boone Cnm, Dnp, Facnm

Dr. Ruth Boone CNM, DNP, FACNM is a certified midwife and business owner of The Essential Midwife since June 2017, focusing on promoting healthy lifestyles for families and women through education and the use of Young Living Essential Oil products. Ruth also serves as a Fellow at the American College of Nurse-Midwives and holds a faculty appointment at the Uniformed Services Health Sciences University. With extensive experience as a staff midwife at Womack Army Medical Center since January 1994, Ruth has also contributed to the midwifery graduate program at East Carolina University. Ruth holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University and additional degrees in midwifery and nursing from Emory University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a nursing diploma from Watts Hospital School of Nursing.
