Dan Walker is the President and CEO of AEPS, a business that provides contract services to the federal government ranging from security services to facility maintenance and management services.
Dan is certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) with a Masters Peace Officer License. He is also a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in education. After graduation, he joined the Texas Department of Public Safety and spent 14 years in the Highway Patrol Service as a Trooper stationed in Albany, Texas. In 1993 he was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to Austin, TX as the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Firearm Training Specialist. He performed in this capacity until the beginning of 1996, when he was promoted to Lieutenant. He still maintained his duties as the Firearm Training Specialist. His role at DPS included coordinating the Texas Concealed Handgun Instructor Program. In 1998, he attended and graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Dan retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety in August of 2002 in order to dedicate his full efforts to AEPS.
He maintains a Special Ranger Commission with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Dan is committed to AEPS, a professional services organization.
