Graduate Student Representative, Special Interest Groups In Research In Mathematics Education at American Educational Research Association

Ariane F. is a dedicated education researcher with extensive experience in teaching and learning, currently serving as a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Research Assistant at UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology. Since May 2023, Ariane has supported UBC’s Faculties in analyzing teaching practices to enhance student learning. In addition, Ariane has been actively involved with the American Educational Research Association as a Graduate Student Representative since April 2023, connecting global researchers in mathematics education. Ariane's background includes research assistance at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Education, involvement in curriculum design for teacher education programs, and policy advising for educational institutions in Brazil. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Studies from The University of British Columbia and prior educational expertise from Stanford University and USP - Universidade de São Paulo, Ariane combines a rich academic foundation with practical research experience in diverse educational contexts.
