Andy Carlin

Andy Carlin is the Director of Compensation & Executive Benefits at American Electric Power, a position held since July 2000, where Andy has led compensation and executive benefits functions during significant business changes and developed industry-leading governance practices. Previously, Andy served in various compensation management roles at Bank One from June 1992 to July 2000, including overseeing multiple lines of business and designing executive compensation programs post-merger, managing bonuses, stock awards, and compliance with IRS regulations. Andy began a career in compensation consulting at Mercer Human Resource Consulting and holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics and Government from Bowdoin College.
