Joseph Roberts

Joseph Roberts is a data scientist at American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. since August 2022, specializing in the development of machine learning models and analytics related to energy storage. Previously, Joseph held multiple engineering roles focused on load forecasting at ISO New England Inc. from June 2017 to August 2022, where responsibilities included developing high-resolution solar PV performance analytics and machine learning-based short-term load forecasting. Joseph’s experience encompasses foundational roles as an associate engineer and assistant engineer, contributing to both short-term and long-term load forecasting efforts. Additional internships at ISO New England provided early exposure to solar PV modeling and regional planning, while earlier work at Creative Material Technologies involved electrical component research and development. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
