Benyam Desta

Benyam Desta is an experienced studio and audio-visual technician currently working at NewsNation since November 2023 and C-SPAN since June 2019. In addition to these roles, Benyam serves as a videographer and photographer for Crackedvisualz, providing affordable video and photo services. At the American Enterprise Institute, responsibilities include livestreaming to YouTube using advanced equipment and software. Benyam also contributed as a teaching assistant in the Digital Media Department at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, assisting students with various media projects. Prior experience includes a field production internship at C-SPAN. Benyam holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in Digital Media from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, completed in 2019.
