Edward Pinto has an extensive work experience in the housing sector. Edward worked at the American Enterprise Institute from 2010 to 2021, where they held the positions of Director-Center on Housing Risk and Resident Fellow. Prior to that, they were a self-employed consultant and served as the Principal since 1989. Edward also worked at Fannie Mae as the Executive vice president-chief credit officer from 1987 to 1989, and at MGIC as a Senior Legal Counsel from 1982 to 1984.
Edward Pinto obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1967 to 1971.
